We believe that our continued success is the result of high quality legal expertise and competitive rates combined with careful attention to the requirements of our clients. This reflects our overriding policy – putting the client first. We offer the same level of expertise and professionalism and friendly approach to all our clients.

The management of chambers is headed by our CEO, Beverly Landais.  She leads a team of clerks who are responsible for the day to day running of the practices of members of chambers, and a team of staff responsible for the financial, marketing and administrative aspects of our business.

The clerks are always willing to advise on the suitability and availability of Counsel, and to discuss fee structures, packages, budgeting and conditional fee agreements.  Members of chambers are happy to hold conferences outside chambers, both in London and further afield, and to take part in pre-instruction meetings with potential clients.

We have a set of Client Service Principles to assist us in maintaining the highest standards.

We are always willing to listen to feedback from our clients.  In addition, the Bar Standards Board requires all barristers’ chambers to provide information about their complaints procedures.  We have a written internal complaints procedure, a copy of which is available on request.  Lay clients may complain directly to Devereux Chambers without going through solicitors.
