Devereux Chambers' commercial practitioners have a wide range of experience in technology, engineering and construction litigation, with expertise in computer and information technology disputes as well as telecommunications. Both silks and juniors in the Commercial Group have represented insurers in professional negligence, environmental and property fire claims and litigated complex technical cases involving extensive expert evidence and analysis. Members of chambers regularly appear in the Technology and Construction Court and have worked closely with expert witnesses such as architects, engineers and surveyors. They can supply practical advice and tactical answers to problems in this difficult area. A number of junior members of chambers have academic backgrounds in science and technical areas and many are highly computer literate with a real flair for technical disputes.
