The management of Chambers is led by our CEO, Beverly Landais. Our Business Services' staff work closely with members of Chambers and clerks to provide a first class client experience. Together they take responsibility for the financial, marketing, facilities and administrative aspects of our business.

Beverly Landais

Beverly joined Devereux in 2009 as Chambers’ first CEO.  She has over 25 years’ experience in professional services marketing.  Her sector experience spans insurance, banking, financial and legal services. Beverly’s career includes posts as Head of Marketing at Lloyd’s of London, Head of Brand & Communication at Lombard Asset Finance, and Director of Business Development at Baker & McKenzie. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute and an Affiliate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. Beverly was awarded Chartered Marketeer status in July 2012 and Chartered Manager status in February 2013. Beverly was featured in The Lawyer's Management Profile in March 2013.

Beverly enjoys ballet, fast hula hooping and slow jogging to keep fit.

Mark Noble

Mark joined Devereux with over 10 years’ experience working for international law firms. He was the Practice Manager at Rouse, Manager of Administration at Mintz Levin and Office Manager at Brown Rudnick. Prior to this Mark worked in the insurance and reinsurance industry in London and spent time working in the US and Germany.

He enjoys overseas travel, dining out and cooking.

Mandy Buxton

Mandy has more than 20 years' experience in the hospitality industry, the last 16 of which were spent with ARAMARK Ltd (the third largest contract caterer in the UK). She has held various roles including Finance & Administration Manager, and Deputy and General Manager for blue chip contracts such as Texaco, ExxonMobil, Nomura, Regent's College and The American School in London; culminating in seven years as Group Finance Manager overseeing eight BP sites. 
 
She became an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) in March 2012 and has a BA (Hons) in International Hospitality Management.
 
Mandy frequents the gym, participating in classes such as boot camp, circuit and body combat. She also enjoys live music and beach holidays.

Katie graduated in 2010 in English Literature and Linguistics from Queen Mary, University of London.  Before joining Devereux in September 2012 she worked at the Confederation of British Industry. 

Outside Chambers Katie’s interests include surfing, cycling, and running.

Brenda Leahy

Brenda has 20 years experience of working as fees clerk/accounts manager in Devereux, previous experience includes working in accounts/payroll for a leading American hospitality company plus a telecommunications firm involved in aviation. Brenda's career also includes working for a construction company in accounts/payroll department for several years.

Brenda enjoys theatre, travel, entertaining/cooking, country walking and being with her family.

April has many years of legal secretarial experience starting her career as a conveyancing secretary, becoming receptionist/typist for 199 Strand Chambers and then joining Devereux in 2006. She enjoys the challenges that are presented at Devereux, is a team player and loves the people she works with!

April enjoys spending time with her family and likes ‘retail therapy’.

Cara has three years of accounts experience at Devereux and five years at various high profile solicitor firms. Her experience includes fee collection, legal billing and legal cashiering.
