Tom has considerable trial experience, including at appeal.
Prior to practicing from Chambers, he was an employed barrister in litigation at the offshore firm Walkers Global.
Practice Areas
In 2011, Tom has acted as sole junior in some cases of significant value.
These include quantum proceedings in spinal and brain injury claims of up to £3m and several multi-party actions arising out of incidents occurring abroad.
Medical negligence work has covered the fields of cardiology, neurosurgery, ophthalmology and dentistry.
Tom accepts cases against legal professionals both in relation to their conduct of injury claims and in other practice areas.
He also works with insurance companies in claims against their insured and claims handlers. This includes advice on policy coverage, prospects of a recovery action and also where allegations of fraud or exaggeration are in issue.
