Andrew Burns in Dubai International Financial Centre Courts
Andrew Burns appeared today before His Excellency Mr Justice Ali Al Madhani sitting in the Court of First Instance in the DIFC Courts in Dubai, UAE. He is acting for the Claimant in Wheatley v Simmons & Co International in a claim involving contested bonus payments and employment related benefits of an executive based in Dubai. The DIFC established by the government of the Emirate of Dubai in 2004 sees very few cases litigated in the DIFC Courts. Andrew has been registered as a DIFC Court advocate since 2011 and has advised a range of clients in commercial and employment disputes where jurisdiction is based in the Dubai International Financial Centre.
