Devereux scoops two awards at the Legal 500 UK Awards announcements
In the recent shortlist announcement for the Legal 500 UK Awards, Devereux was recognised as a top set in tax as well as personal injury and clinical negligence with Rob Weir QC nominated as a top silk in the same category.
We are delighted to confirm that, as one of only five sets winning multiple awards, we were chosen as the winners for:
- The Legal 500 UK set of the year: Tax
- The Legal 500 UK silk of the year: Robert Weir QC - Personal injury and clinical negligence
When announcing the winners Legal 500 highlighted: “… we have conducted thousands of interviews with law firms, sets and in-house counsel in the UK to pin-point the most capable, expert barristers and sets operating at the top of their game across a number of different areas. The awards are unique in the legal industry as they recognise each element of the profession equally, representing the very best chambers, silks, law firms and in-house lawyers operating within the UK market.”
The announcement followed the recent news that Devereux’s members increase their individual rankings by 21% in the new Legal 500 2015 edition and confirms our position of excellence in these areas.
