The Second Edition of Contract Actions in Employment Law by Professor Ian Smith and Nicholas Randall has been published by Bloomsbury Professional. The work deals with the development of the law of contract as it relates to the law of employment. Areas covered include bonus claims, restrictive covenants, implied terms and the current approach to the assessment of damages. The book is aimed at the practitioner as well as dealing with academic questions and includes a section of precedents for contract claims.
