We have widely recognised expertise in judicial review proceedings in a tax context, both for and against HMRC. Our members have been involved in judicial review proceedings for and against statutory regulators including the Financial Conduct Authority, Ofcom, Ofgem, and the Bar Standards Board.
Members of Devereux have represented clients in courts and tribunals at all levels including the Supreme Court, Court of Appeal, High Court, the CAT, and the various chambers of the Upper Tribunal and the First-tier Tribunal.
Clients include individuals, companies, charities, NGOs and local and national government agencies.
Our barristers are well-represented on the Attorney General’s Civil Panels of Counsel and a number have security clearance up to Developed Vetting (DV) level.
