Georgia Bowen

Call 2026

Georgia joined Devereux as a pupil in October 2026.

She graduated from the University of Oxford with First Class Honours in History, and was awarded the Faculty’s George Ramsay Thesis Prize. Georgia then obtained Distinctions in the Graduate Diploma in Law and Bar Vocational Studies, as a Lord Bowen and Lord Denning Scholar of Lincoln's Inn.

Before pupillage, Georgia was an assistant to a barrister at Doughty Street Chambers, where she worked on libel and judicial review claims, including against national media organisations and government departments. Alongside her studies and employment, she was a pro bono advocate for the Cleaners and Allied Independent Workers Union in the Employment Tribunal, and a legal advocate for Look UK (a visually impaired children’s charity) in the First-tier Tribunal.

Before coming to the Bar, Georgia worked as a paralegal in-house at major record label Warner Music UK.
