Devereux Chambers is pleased to announce the result of our Tax Essay Competition for 2026.

Following careful consideration from our in-house Tax Barristers, the winners are as follows:

Winner - Aleks Sekulic, BPP University

Runners-Up - Luc Barrett, City St. George's, University of London & Alastair Sim, University of Oxford

We would like to congratulate the winners, and thank all those that participated, the judges were very impressed with the standard of essay writing and knowledge of tax law showcased in this year's competition.
