Devereux welcomes Tom Keith to its commercial litigation practice
Devereux is delighted to welcome Tom Keith to its commercial litigation practice. Tom joins Chambers after 7 years of providing advocacy services for Eversheds. Prior to this Tom was a tenant of Fountain Court. Speaking about his move, Tom comments: “I am happy to be pursuing my commercial practice in a dynamic and up-and-coming set of chambers that is committed to expanding its commercial team. I am pleased to be returning to the Bar having had the unique and valuable experience of working as a barrister within a firm of solicitors”.
Simon Brooks, Eversheds, Head of Insurance and Reinsurance Group, said: “I have found Tom to be an exceptional lawyer. He has demonstrated a very broad range of legal expertise, and has provided indispensable strategic thinking in the matters on which we have worked together. He has built up a rapport across our Litigation Practice Group with the partner group and with the associates. We will be very sorry to see him go and wish him all the best at Devereux”.
Graham Read QC, Devereux, said: “Tom is another excellent addition to the commercial team at Devereux. He is an immensely experienced and successful litigator whose areas of expertise in insurance, financial services, civil fraud and international commercial litigation will integrate well with our existing commercial practice".
