Competition law event at Konkurrensverket, Sweden
On the afternoon of 12th May, a competition law event organised by the Swedish Competition Authority Konkurrensverket took place in Stockholm, Sweden.
In a first session between 13.45 h and 14.45 h Glen Weyl, Assistant Professor at the University of Chicago and senior researcher at Microsoft, discussed his research paper on the economics of platforms markets.
In a second session between 14.50 h and 16.00h John Townsend and Dr Christian Bergqvist, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law at the University of Copenhagen, presented a joint research paper on “Competition and Convergence in Telecoms: Margin Squeeze and Market Definition”.
