Book review ~ ‘Human Rights Law’ by Merris Amos (2nd edition)
Given the profound impact The Human Rights Act 1998 has had on the law of England and Wales since it came into force in October 2000, it is perhaps surprising therefore, that there are so few textbooks covering the law generated in relation to the Human Rights Act. With ‘Human Rights Law’, Merris Amos produced an affordable textbook which focuses on the Human Rights Act and certain convention rights.
Rob Weir QC reviews this 2nd edition for the New Law Journal, first published in their edition of 6th February 2015.
