Three Devereux Silks are nominated for the Chambers Bar Awards 2010
Devereux is pleased to announce that three of the Set's Silks are shortlisted for The Chambers Bar Awards 2010 on the strength of the independent research conducted for the forthcoming Chambers UK legal directory. They are: Colin Edelman QC, Insurance Silk of the Year; Bruce Carr QC, Employment Silk of the Year and Stephen Killalea QC, Health & Safety Silk of the Year.
Colin Edelman QC is a former winner of the award and has been nominated in the category of Insurance Silk of the Year every year since the award was launched. Prior to taking silk, Bruce Carr QC was nominated for the Employment Junior of the Year award.
The Chambers Bar Awards recognises practitioners who stand out in a particular practice area. Devereux Chambers is proud that in addition to this years nominations, Robert Weir QC (as a junior) and Nicholas Randall have, in the recent past, been nominated for their excellence in the categories of Employment and Personal Injury.
The Chambers Bar Awards will be held at The London Hilton on Park Lane on Thursday 30 September 2010.
